Hey! I directed this movie. We shot it in the Spring of 2019 and had hoped to play at film festivals and get released in 2020 but a pandemic happened and changed everything. For a while, we weren't sure if we could release the movie at all. It was all of a sudden something…
Chad HartiganFeb 7, 2021“I was so sad the day I met you, I can’t remember why.” this hurt me deeply and I'll never forget it also the ending absolutely destroyed me in the best possible way. no one talk to me for 3 - 5 business days while i sit and process this.
aaronOct 4, 2020“when your disaster is everyone’s disaster, how do you grieve?” this movie was literally ahead of its time

ashleyFeb 17, 2021i died a little bit when olivia cooke said "i was so sad the day i met you, i can't remember why" in the beginning and then i died too much when she said it again in the end.

LauraJan 16, 2022“i was so sad the day i met you, i can’t remember why” who else wishes they were dead from suicide
breApr 18, 2023i love you non-linear stories. i love you circular narratives. i love you endings that recontextualize the beginning. i love you characters who are doomed from the start. i love you love stories that are also ghost stories <3

Idk if I'm programmed to love everything that's similar to Eternal Sunshine, but this was genuinely so good. Loved the cast and their chemistry, amazing soundtrack, perfect vibes, and a plot full of heartfelt moments and raw emotions. Would recommend.
It's worth the 1hr 40m runtime. Still a little long but the details you forget come back to you in the end and it hits like a slap in the face. It focuses on a 'simple' relationship through a chaotic and terrifying memory loss pandemic. In some ways, it's something we can all relate to after covid.…

Unfathomably sad, and even scarier considering the validity and possibility of its reality. Heartbreaking in a stunning way
What’s terrifying is though the forgetfulness in this film is pushed to an extreme, it’s not far fetched from reality. We forget so much throughout our lives, so many moments and details that it’s scary to think about the fact that we could lose all of what we remember entirely.

Loved. Truly loved it’s such a deep and heart breaking look into the reality of how soul crushing it is to love someone with a disease like that and the ending just made the pain even deeper. jack and Olivia shined immensely
this movie is so heartbreakingly beautiful. jack o’connell and olivia cooke were so good in this (even though jack’s american accent threw me way off 😭). i’ll never forget it. “i was so sad the day i met you.” 🥹
