Synopsis

The Emei team participated in Asian Women's Champions League, and was not favored, but captain Shuangshuang were invincible after getting help from senior brother Xu Feng. But because of a dispute, Xu Feng turned against them.

Moviegoers are saying

Audiences split sharply on this Stephen Chow sequel. Fans who came for slapstick and the kung fu soccer format laughed hard, with one reviewer saying it had their family "laughing insanely hard," but most felt it leaned on nostalgia for Shaolin Soccer (2001) and ran on glossy green-screen CGI that "really took me out of the film." Several reviewers were more interested in a yuri subplot they saw in the all-female team than in the film itself.

Classic Stephen Chow humor haha. The jokes are ridiculous in the best way, and the rough CGI somehow adds to the charm of the movie. It’s silly, over-the-top, and definitely has that signature Stephen Chow style. Not perfect, but still a pretty fun watch

Kung Fu Soccer (2026): When the Comedy Doesn't Land What’s the difference between a person without a dream and a salted fish? I went into the film with some expectations because it is directed by Stephen Chow and the title naturally made me think of Shaolin Soccer (2001),…

For everyone out there convinced they're garbage, you can find hope thanks to this film. This trash made $70 million in its 2 day debut in China.

Man so many people upset by this in the reviews. Lots of cringe inducing jokes, that are a bit offensive. Yeah tell me you haven't watched a Stephen Chow film that wasn't Shaolin Soccer or Kung Fu Hustle without telling me. The humor is incredibly slapstick, cartoonish and…
