Dogun dislikedKilling Them SoftlyI watched this a while back and completely forgot that I did. There are no memorable scenes. Waiting for Brad Pitt to finally show up took some time. I didn’t really care that much about it. I thought the poster was aight, it was the reason I watched it in the first place.
Loretta likedKilling Them SoftlyIt's a really good crime drama that follows a series of escalating violent events. Brad Pitt makes a late appearance but is probably the best part of the film. It ultimately becomes a metaphor for America as a corporation of crime. Very interesting and underrated. 8/10

The movie isn't political so much as philosophical, trashing the notion of the American dream as anything more than fodder for an endless rat race.

Killing Them Softly isn't anything major. But it's a pungent minor film only vaguely resembling the one The Weinstein Co. is advertising, and that's fine with me.
