Moviegoers are saying
Karuppu splits its audience down the middle: fans call it a gleeful, mass-masala return of Suriya, with "Suriya's show all the way" and a climax one reviewer calls "Absolute madness!!", while skeptics find the "Just God things" logic and recycled references exhausting. Nearly everyone agrees the Sai Abhyankkar music and Indrans's performance are the highlights, and the debate is over whether the chaos is delightful or just brainrot.

manichowOct 3, 2026Actually quite liked this movie. Felt it touched upon some pretty important topics and issues. Also loved the music and climax and interval blocks are definitely some of the best. It gets a bit long at times but other than that good film!

Firstly, Suriya ku oru ummaaaa 🙂↔️ Secondly, Would have enjoyed it more if it dealt with cases with the same intensity and complexity from the first half instead of going all “Just God things”

It was so good!!! I especially enjoy the scene where they parodized Thalapathy Vijay's movie 'Leo'!!!! Oh ya, and also the return of Singam part was amazing as well!!! It was very promising fun and action-packed movie from Suriya himself!!! RJ Balaji absolutely nailed it!!!
