Moviegoers are saying
Reviewers are sharply divided, with a few praising KJ Apa's standout lead performance and the cast and crew's passion at a festival Q&A, while others call the film rough, overlong, and 'boring' with no driving narrative. The most vivid account comes from a theater host who hosted the premiere: a B-24 flyover, a declared 'Jimmy Stewart Day,' and a bar that was slammed with wine and gin orders, though they felt the film leaned more on reclaiming Stewart's legacy than celebrating his whole career.

KJ Apa killed it. The rest of the movie is somewhat compelling but overly long. I liked it though.

Bad. So. So. So bad. Look I think KJ Apa had a good performance but there is only so much he can do. There is no driving narrative everything happens so fast. You can’t live in any of these moments. There is a good story in here I just wish it was told better.  The…

It is okay, I mostly decided to watch the movie because of KJ, and the story is okay, but the excessive use of AI lost a lot of points for me
