Synopsis
A year after saving her town from a psychotic killer on Christmas Eve, Winnie Carruthers’ life is less than wonderful — but when she wishes she’d never been born, she finds herself in a nightmare parallel universe and discovers that without her, things could be much, much worse. Now the killer is back, and she must team up with the town misfit to identify the killer and get back to her own reality. IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE by way of SCREAM.

I’m so sad I didn’t enjoy this as much as I wanted to. It wasn’t bad, the slasher sequences were great, I liked the concept, and the costume is so perfect I was completely floored every time I saw it in action… but the ending/lack of character development ruined it for me.

I still say it’s worth checking out. I can’t take Justin Long seriously since Barbarian. That movie ruined him for me 😂

People saying she had no character development are so wrong and obviously didn’t pay attention to the movie. it’s not bad and was a fun watch and an interesting concept. the ending was anti climactic but makes sense in the grand scheme of things

Clunky horror in-jokes, like a heavy-handed Scream nod in the name of Winnie's aunt (Isabelle), feel labored, and it's all plagued by the same unevenness that afflicted director Tyler MacIntyre's Tragedy Girls: The gore and the comedy are well-executed, but the timing is off.

As you’d expect, It’s a Wonderful Knife is filled with blood-spattered twists on holiday movie tropes. Unfortunately, there are few surprises and only a handful of genuine scares, and the film suffers from subpar lighting and occasionally clunky editing. It’s a “Knife” in need of some sharpening.
