Synopsis
ISLE OF DOGS tells the story of ATARI KOBAYASHI, 12-year-old ward to corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. When, by Executive Decree, all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump, Atari sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies to Trash Island in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.

people always compare this to fantastic mr fox and i don’t think that’s fair, i love them both but they have such different styles and storylines, it is always in fantastic mr foxes shadow and it needs to be more appreciated because it’s so good!!

Gooood, I’ve never been so invested in a film in my life. Ofc it is lovely because of the aesthetic itself, but the plot… that was something else. It was pretty complex, unexpected and just amazing. Definitely recommend to everyone. Didn’t stop watching it for a seccond.
