C’est beau à pleurer. D’ailleurs, j’écris ces lignes avec des larmes qui coulent encore. Meilleur film d’animation français depuis J’AI PERDU MON CORPS.

Iron Boy proves a heartfelt coming-of-age story with just the right amount of magic and authenticity to ensure the stakes remain high for the duration.

A beautifully hand-painted coming-of-age tale that is economical in its visuals, but as expressive and emotive as any big-budget animated film.

Alternately suggesting a moving watercolor and Chinese ink painting come to life, the film’s subjective aesthetic is an extension of the wonders and curiosities, the failures and indignities, that dot a moody, metal-bound boy's life.
