Maybe this was a bad introduction to David Lynch, but this film had little to offer for me. It felt meaningless and incoherent for the majority of its lengthy runtime. It’s not meant to be understood, but rather experienced, of which I didn’t enjoy much. 5.5
Landon Kenner is "meh" onInland EmpireI wish I got David Lynch films. It’s hard to determine what’s real and what’s not, as well as what’s relevant vs irrelevant. This movie dragged for the middle hour, leaving me ready for the end. Definitely a movie where you have to succumb to the randomness.
