Synopsis
The incredible Parr family is back in this long-overdue sequel from writer-director Brad Bird. Helen, a.k.a. Elastigirl, has an exciting new job: to bring Supers back to the mainstream. Which leaves her husband Bob, Mr. Incredible himself, focusing on the domestic heroics of life at home with their gifted children Violet, Dash, and baby Jack-Jack. Too bad Jack-Jack’s superpowers are starting to emerge, making the little guy a serious handful. There’s homework to help with, and teen angst to face. Oh, and then there’s that new villain threatening the world… Holly Hunter and Craig T. Nelson return as the voices of Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible, with Samuel L. Jackson as their friend Frozone. The cast also includes Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Catherine Keener, John Ratzenberger, Sophia Bush, and Brad Bird as Edna Mode.

Ah yes, the original "painfully average" movie. Upon further thought, it's way better than the other films I've given that moniker to. It's fun, has great writing and inventive action, and the score is solid. Filler nonsense and a weak plot/villain/finale really drag it…
