Can't get over the fact that Mae West wrote a movie in which she is the object of all men's desires and spends the entire time bossing them around. In 1933! Truly an icon.

The thing I really love about Mae West is that she’s the only one that can pull off her entire shtick. And it’s absolutely delightful. It lends itself SO well to satire, but gosh if she doesn’t just serve every single time.
