Moviegoers are saying
This comedy divides audiences with its deliberately crude humor and title changes (from 'Shitheads' to 'Idiots'), featuring Nicholas Braun as a standout 'low rent mercenary/Soundcloud rapper' and Dave Franco channeling his brother James. While some viewers found it a perfectly mindless watch for empty days, others felt burned by the $9.95 price tag for what they deemed 'terribly unfunny' content.

Matt!Oct 3, 2026This movie is terribly unfunny. I spent $9.95 to watch it, so I've come away wondering if I've been called a name I might deserve.

Simple and fun. A funny and easygoing movie that was honestly perfect for some empty days haha. The plot is simple and light, the comedy worked for me, and I just enjoyed sitting back and watching it without thinking too much. Nothing special, but definitely a fun and…

I thought this was going to be a funny roadtrip comedy, but it turned out to be somewhat unsettling and barely even funny. I feel like the real idiot for watching it…

Devin Peters dislikedIdiotsFrom start to finish this movie didn't know what is was trying to be , it felt like it was attempting to be a comedy an action and a serious drama all at the same time and none of them worked, it sucks that the trailer looked great but very much mis represented the actual movie.

🎥 technically a comedy but moves almost like a psychological horror. wasn’t as funny or action-packed as i thought it would be. it also felt like it was tryna leave u w an important message but it didnt do a good job at it. acting was pretty good tho & carried the movie imo
Tristan likedIdiotsThis movie was hilarious. I will say the first half had me laughing a lot more than the back half but this was a good movie and def worth a watch if you like comedies or Dave Franco. Franco was a highlight of this movie for me his acting is some of my favorite
Watchdog likedIdiotsthe number of producers on this??? oh my god. a solid two hander from Franco and Jackson. Some good laughs, some solid drama, insane casting for Nicholas Braun and Peter Dinklage. The Sabrina girl and her kooky grandma were fun too!
