Our theater was packed and the energy was electric, it was like Coachella at the Americana at night. We started chanted "IMAGINE. IMAGINE. IMAGINE" right before the opening credits started and every time one of our old friends popped up on screen from the first movie…
kevintporterFeb 28, 2026While tecnically a sequel, I see this film as more of a continuation of a man's life. Whether you a person of faith or not, we are not guaranteed an easy road. Our family can get sick, friends can sick, and hardships can often feel likr more than one can bear. Yet we have…
Robert ShupeFeb 19, 2026WAIT…it’s possible to make a GOOD Christian movie?!!

Considerably better than the first I Can Only Imagine, dropping the cringey humor and origin story tropes in favor of a much more interesting examination of where a career goes after your band achieves one-hit wonder status in the cult of Christian propaganda. Even if this…
Aaron BartuskaFeb 21, 2026An emotionally resonant and powerful sequel. A lot of what made the first one so good stays for this sequel. The performances are good, especially Ventimiglia’s as Tim Timmons, who was a great addition to the cast and one of my favorite parts of the film. His story was…
JohnSimpsonFeb 19, 2026ik i was supposed to be emotionally involved but the every time Milo was onscreen i could only hear “WHY did you DROP outta YALE?!”

as a “this is us” fan, the hospital scene had me stressed thinking something was going to happen to milo ventimiglia again
autumnFeb 20, 2026Solid film from start to finish, I got bored in the middle and a minute later Milo Ventimiglia delivers an Oscar worthy monologue, the end was phenomenal. My gripes are his son's moment on stage singing alone was not good, and seemed like it only served as a warm up to the…

Really good for a sequel, but not as good as the first one. Another strong and emotional true story that leads to a beautiful ending. There are a few slow parts and iffy writing, but it doesn’t take away from the whole movie. I like how it explores more people as well. 6.5/10
The actor for Bart was throwing me off a little cuz' of the age gap, although I know he was Bart in the last movie.

I hadn’t seen the first movie so really didn’t expect to enjoy this one much, but I did. The cast was good and the fact that it’s a true story really made it resonate with me. No matter how bad things may be going for you, there’s always someone who has it worse AND there…
