this movie was really bad but worth it for 70s aesthetic evan peters
🦢Apr 20, 2022there is not a single scene in this film in which evan peters is not snorting cocaine. my favorite one was when it got knocked out of his hands and he proceeded to snort it out of his shag carpeting.

A very powerful film. Lots of singing. It was a bit hard to watch because I was so worried about the fate of the characters, especially because it's a biopic, and drugs were involved (always scary), and I knew nothing about these people before the film. Helen Reddy is cool.

I Am Woman is a start in the right direction. However, based on this film you might think that the most interesting thing about Reddy is that she married her manager who then got addicted to cocaine. It's a frustratingly shallow approach to a singer who deserves better.
