Synopsis
Jodie Foster plays The Nurse, the proprietor of a secret members-only emergency room in a dangerous near-future Los Angeles. Only the members are all desperate criminals in need of patching up, and the danger doesn’t always stop at the doorstep. And speaking of criminals, the cast assembled in this stylish, pulse-pumping thriller is almost too good to be legal. Foster is joined by the likes of Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista. Hotel Artemis is the first feature film directed by longtime writer Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3).

It should be so easy to root for “Hotel Artemis.” An original, star-studded, somewhat sci-fi crime thriller in a summer movie season that’s already bloated with sterile franchise junk, Drew Pearce’s directorial debut is exactly the kind of mid-budget divertissement that…

in the name of the father (jodie foster), the son (jenny slate), and the holy spirit (jeff goldblum), amen.
maddieTaking a John Wick-inspired premise and working Reservoir Dogs-esque wonders around it, Hotel Artemis is a stylish and snappy directorial debut from Iron Man 3 and Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation scribe Drew Pearce, with terrific performances, great dialogue and…

I was rooting for Jodie Foster the moment the film started. It wasn't a great beginning, but I tried imaging why she chose the script. It got progressively worse until thinking my rating would be 5/10, slowly went down to 4/10, then finally 3/10. Jeff Goldblum is good in…

This movie is strange, chaotic, and intense, but if you love fast-paced action and gritty fight scenes, it’s worth a watch. The dark, gripping plot and amazing cast keep you on your toes, while the rugged sci-fi world makes Hotel Artemis a unique, not-for-the-faint-of-heart ride.
6.8/10 Slow in some parts but a great directorial debut for Drew Pearce(also wrote it) with an all star cast and great world building. Great character lore for each but left wanting more(or jus incomplete) Watching Bautista give one of his best performances wit a legend is 🥹👌🏾
I had never heard of this film till a couple of months ago, but this had a really solid concept to it. A hospital that only helps criminals and set in the near future. I really like Jodie Foster’s story and arc. Her chemistry with Dave Bautista was really sweet.

It was ok. Would I watch it again? No. Would I recommend it to someone? No, probably not. But if it comes up and the remotes too far to change the channel? You probably wouldn’t regret giving it a watch.
A stellar cast leads this action packed thriller. Not much else to say really but HOTEL ARTEMIS is a pulse-pounding thriller set in a near future that’s full of great action and thrills. 7/10

Great movie never hear anyone talking about it. A lot to unravel in this film.
A fun action movie with a decent plot. All wrapped up in a loaded cast.

Great cast, but the overall pacing felt off. Would have benefitted from an extra 20 minutes overall.
JRJuan Rodriguezthe ending let me down it was cool movie
CLClare Liu-CaoiliThe pacing of the movie was off, and could have used a lot more action. Additionally the movie could have used some mystery, everything does not need to be explicitly spelled out. The premise of the movie was very promising, it just didn’t pay off.

CCCesylie CorgiatI went in blind and wasn’t completely disappointed. I’ve never heard of Hotel Artemis so it came as a complete surprise when my friend invited me to see this. Considering I was a stranger to the story of the movie. It has a good story concept, although it seemed a bit slow…
