aaronNov 13, 2025When she realizes the entire world will be crying for her son for generations, ah that's the power of art. I'm so glad I invested in Jessie Buckley all the way back to Beast. It's paying off in dividends.

Alright, you want my take? This is the best film out of 2025. Yes I preferred this over one battle after another, you can see my review for it, it’s glowing. But this, this means everything. The performances direct the film, but Chloe Zhao’s directing still takes a huge spotlight. For me, this…

A well developed story that starts with keeping you warm and mindful throughout the first half, just to become a heartwrenching, soulcrashing, painful to watch, to then lead to the catharsis that's overlooked in the these days era of open endings and never ending TV series.

5/5 - An incredibly beautiful and raw film about grief, but also primarily about love. It does a wonderful job at disconnecting itself from what we know and expect from a film about Shakespeare, and instead focuses on his family and their tragedy, creating a very tender portrait. Jessie Buckley was…
🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎 Unbelievable. Movie of the year. The score was so beautiful and complimented every scene perfectly. The actors and actresses did everything they needed to and more, especially the child actors. How can you perform that well and be so young? I haven’t cried this much to a movie ever.…
Every scene feels written in order to evoke an emotional response from the viewer, that decision keeps you distant from the movie despite the intimacy; some lame biopic cliches and heavy handed writing. All poignancy comes from the raw, devastating emotions Jessie Buckley brings.

The most beautiful picturesque and theatrical display of grief that I have ever seen. I have never cried so much in a long time. Watching Hamnet evoked a feeling in me that craves reliving that experience in movie theaters. Usually a movie like this only requires one watch…
