Amazing true story movie!
I did not have high hopes for this movie, however I was very happily proven wrong. The way the scenes were directed and the visual effects, along with the sound put me right in the drivers seat with Jann. Definitely recommend seeing it in theaters. Very inspirational story…

Gran Turismo is perhaps a more basic film for Blomkamp, but a welcome reminder that his breakthrough first feature District 9 wasn’t a fluke. He manages to give a film that is more or less an ad for a video game a little bit of heart.
The film’s visual look is as inert as its screenplay, and its attempts to make the real racing scenes look like Gran Turismo gameplay by overlaying the game’s graphics with live footage fall embarrassingly flat.
