Surprisingly faithful to the original game.
Crash JatckoAug 13, 2020surprised the entire franchise didn't implode the second a woman taught bond the phrase "sexual harassment"
Emma StefanskyJan 31, 2020He was my childhood Bond so I recognize I am bias, but Brosnan was so damn good in this role. His grin! His insouciance! The way he adjusts his tie! Just awesome. It’s just a shame he didn’t get more good movies to grin and adjust his tie in.

the world collectively is not as horny as James Bond

My love for this film extends beyond rational scales. I just think it’s perfect, even the imperfections just add to its overall perfectness in some weird, inverted way. I could ramble on about everything I love so I’ll just say that the cinema screening I just saw it at…

I’ll lump all the James Bond films up to Casino Royale into one review. I love them all and there’s very few instalments that I don’t enjoy. I hope they keep making them till the day I die, fantastic films! 13/07/2023 (Historical Review)

Rated: 7.9/10 ⭐️ Celebrating the 007: First Light release. Thought a mid-90s reboot might feel stale, but Brosnan’s debut completely hooked me. What Worked: • Brosnan is top-tier, perfectly revitalizing Bond for the 90s. • The practical stunts are wild, especially that St. Petersburg tank…
I can see why some would like it, but it is my painfully obvious realization by now that I am just not a huge fan of Bond as a character, which is crucial, so that tints the most of the scenes with boredom for me. But Pierce Brosnan did well in the role for what it's worth. Also, Xenia is creepy…
Easily a top 5 Bond film with it being more serious and it had an engaging story. Piece Brosnan is a great James Bond and for being his first time as the character he totally nailed it. It’s just a perfect well directed action film and the villain was very memorable.

A standout Bond film, with top-tier action, strong performances, and an engaging story. Pierce Brosnan shines as 007, while the writing and direction elevate the entire experience. Dame Judi Dench’s debut as M is an unforgettable highlight. Rating: H- 8.5/10 L- 8.5/10
A really good Bond movie here with Brosnan outstanding as Bond. Theirs plenty of great action and a surprisingly good plot and script. Bean is a good villain and theirs a great supporting cast too
