10/10 definitely worth the watch & paying full price. Not what I was expecting, 100% better than what I predicted.
amazing it had a good balance of realism and fantasy that it truly made it terrifying
Retro horror and racial tension mix to surprisingly entertaining effect in Get Out.
Get Out starts with a great title and a promising idea — a black man’s fear as he walks at night down a street in an affluent white suburb. Then it delivers on that promise with explosive brilliance.
When the film moves out of the paranoiac realm and into action, the violence is deeply satisfying, the twists delightful.
