A very violent Scooby-Doo episode
Patrick WillemsOct 24, 2021I genuinely cannot get over the fact that there is no jason in a hockey mask in this movie

WowItzTokyo lovedFriday the 13thWow this movie is old, it’s classic horror film made in the 80s so you know what to expect. We have come such a long way but love the way they use real effects.
nate. likedFriday the 13thmy least favourite of the slasher franchises so far... still enjoyed it though!
- Amina Malone is "meh" onFriday the 13th
did not like this movie. i think it was just too hyped because it’s a classic and because it’s one of my fav tropes and was really really bad, i just felt let down and disappointed and did not enjoy watching it.
Jennifer Facenda lovedFriday the 13thNothing is better than a classic slasher.

I liked it. It set up your basic Horror Story line for years to come. It’s between the Halloween- Babysitter gets stalked or the Friday the 13th- There at a summer camp and something bad happens. But it’s always fun to watch. Except Mrs.Jason gave me Nancy Loomis Feels. 6.5/10.
ICanBeNikki likedFriday the 13thThis movie is so goofy but fun. Listening to the 1980’s music while someone is getting hunted down is the best part about this movie. I love the days where movies actually had to rely on practical effects instead of cgi; talking about the snake they killed which was real

A disgusting, artless shocker...A cruel film that offers teen-age girls in peril, as well as a gruesome beheading. Only for sickies. [11 July 1980, p.8]
Gene Siskel
Chicago Tribune
As the bodies pile up amongst this testy crowd of horny teens, there remains a vacant hole were someone scary should be. In a strange way, this film stands unique amongst all slasher films as one where the killer is nearly intangible.
Kim Newman
Empire
Friday the 13th is neither tense nor frightening (although, to be fair, it is at times creepy and atmospheric, due in part to budgetary limitations that led to a low-key style).
