coffeeApr 13, 2022I like it less the more I think about it. A self indulgent project written/directed by Mel Gibson’s girlfriend that borders on incoherent and almost offensively brings zero tension to Stuart Long’s inspiring story. Starts off okay enough, around half way becomes…

Pretty awkwardly structured and unimaginatively shot biopic about a crass, working-class boxer-turned-priest that unfortunately doesn't really have much in the way of insight about family, faith, suffering, acceptance etc. but I'll confess that Mark and Mel are putting in…

A picture that makes no bones about its desire to be the next Oscar nominee. And, based on the response it has received thus far, I believe that everyone's ambitions here are far from matching those of Stu's character in real life and their personal goals of getting some…

This is a really great movie that will make you think twice about your life. The story was on on point This movie is a must watch. It has a good message and teaches you lessons along the way it also teaches you that no matter how far you are down God will always be there for you
In 1986, Mark Wahlberg and friends chased and threw rocks at a group of Black children while yelling the N-word. In 1988, he assaulted two Vietnamese men on the same day during an attempted theft, injuring one and striking the other with a stick while yelling racial slurs.
