Moviegoers are saying
This Evil Dead franchise entry delivers visceral, gore-soaked horror that had audiences literally squirming in their seats, though many found it weaker than previous installments. While franchise fans praised the intense atmosphere and jaw-dropping practical effects, newcomers were split between being genuinely terrified and finding the plot predictably thin.

the one and only lovedEvil Dead Burni absolutely loved it. i loved the way they filmed this. there’s a mirror scene which i loved. i think the car scene and the dinner scene were so suspenseful. the very end credit scene is amazing bro, my jaw genuinely dropped. cannot wait for the next movie. the kills were so cool, and the deadites…
Ranj Farhad likedEvil Dead BurnThe killing style, the granny, and the music carried this movie, otherwise nothing really crazy.

Stay till the end. There’s two post credit scenes. Overall I liked it. It was brutal and Gorey and felt like an evil dead film. However my big gripe is with how unlikeable the family was. Normally I care when good people turn into evil deadites. But in here, they were evil to start so I found…
parkersherrod is "meh" onEvil Dead BurnI love love love the Evil Dead. This movie was fine but I felt like it was missing the soul that this franchise usually has. The deadites didn’t feel memorable or have strong personalities. The story felt disconnected from the characters. The brutality was there and creative 🤷
Morgan likedEvil Dead Burnoverall i enjoyed it, it’s far from perfect and i’m not sure if it 100% justifies it’s existence in the evil dead franchise but i appreciated the kills and the family dynamic of a strained in-law relationship i liked alice and her trauma was unique to explode

This was everything u cld hope 4! Delightfully Cringe, inappropriately funny, brutal, lots of yelling @the screen. Why is it in this trilogy, the guys keep summoning demons then wait far too long to tell anyone & they ALWAYS hesitate when it’s kill time??! Hence yelling @ screen
Max Tarrant lovedEvil Dead BurnHoly hell this film rips! Definitely the darkest installment in the franchise so far, both with its themes and violence. The gore I genuinely out of this world it is truly incredible and so impressive to watch. Some moments left my jaw completely on the floor by how far they…
Lina lovedEvil Dead Burn“it’s not really his style” was CRAZY but so true I really enjoyed this, I prefer this over the one before fs. The car scene was my favorite, the way they made a small space work so well, was soo good. the only problem I had with it was it felt like it could’ve ended sooner

While Sebastian Vanicek’s consistently vicious gorefest has a few undeniably clever set pieces, they’re surrounded by some deeply incompetent filmmaking.

What begins as a nasty delight chronicling a noxious family quickly becomes a meditation on gendered abuse that, while well-intentioned, ends up feeling uncomfortably literal-minded.
