If you put martial arts, blaxploitation, and espionage into a tea pot it becomes the tea pot, boiling over with perfection thanks to an immense Lalo Schifrin score, John Saxon, Jim Kelly, a claw/knife handed Dr. No villain, a shitload of mirrors, and Bruce Lee. Incredibly…
Ian WestMar 3, 201860s Bond film through the lens of 70s martial arts/blaxploitation. Lee was an unbelievable athlete.
Josh LewisNov 27, 2020I'm sure one could criticize any number of stereotypical and otherwise problematic elements of this, but from another and I would argue more productive angle it begins to seem like some kind of blueprint for a utopian popular cinema that never materialized, multiracial,…

Trivia. 1) The movie was made for $850,000 in 1973 & took in over $90 million worldwide at the box office. 2) An extra challenged Bruce Lee to a fight to see if he really was that good. Lee won the fight & sent the extra back to work. 3) Jackie Chan: Appears twice in…
Timelord007Jul 3, 2021“Enter the Dragon” isn’t just the most successful martial arts film of all time. It’s also…. just about the best. There is little sense in subtlety when speaking of Bruce Lee’s achievement with the movie. Any humility is unnecessary to the work, and uncharacteristic of…
theriverjordanApr 30, 2023I’d love to join the tournament and get killed so fast that it’s genuinely awkward and more than a little unsettling

Lee’s balletic moves are a joy and the traditional nunchuck showoff display is mesmeric - it’s why we can forgive this film for the slightly lower-octane scenes when he’s not in them.
What an great concept - invading a drug lord's island tournament. Add in a solid cast, cool music, and some investigative spy elements, and you've got a solid watch but not one I expect to revisit. The action is solid, but I don't really like my action heroes to kill needlessly.
While it’s incredibly cheesy and definitely a product of its time, Enter the Dragon is so influential and so fun from start to finish that you just can’t help but have a good time with it. I’d recommend this for any movie goer looking for an exciting use of an hour or so. 8/10

The movie was very good although I feel I needed a bit more for the story. It was good but the story needed a little more development. Regardless Bruce Lee is the GOAT and his fight scene were amazing all the fights were brilliantly choreographed. RIP THE LEGEND.
First Bruce Lee movie I’ve ever seen. Lives up the hype. This was really well done for a 70’s movie and I can picture myself enjoying this in that time period when it released. Even the fight scenes were done better than any other 70s movie I’ve seen

It's not a great film, but Lee's superhuman skills make it an occasionally jaw-dropping experience.
The lack of sentimentality helps focus the viewer on what the film depicts exceptionally well, namely wanton bad behavior and enthralling, wall-to-wall ass-kicking.
