I don’t have a list of my favorite movie characters. Why would I? But if I DID, Paul would be at the top.
KarstenJun 24, 2020my thoughts throughout this movie: 1. reese witherspoon plays unhinged, ambitious characters better than anyone else 2. i would vote for the himbo why lie 3. wait maybe i would vote for the himbo’s lesbian sister 4. what do i have to do to become a part of the himbo…
LauraMar 19, 2018left side of the brain: matthew broderick is a good actor and he has range. the character he plays here is nothing like any other character he has portrayed, and he plays it well. besides, an actor is more than the movie characters he plays, and one role shouldn't define…

Dear God, thank you for all your blessings. You've given me so many things, like good health, nice parents, a nice truck, and what I'm told is a large penis.
meganMay 9, 2021love this movie just as much as paul loves pears (and apples (and bananas))
KarstenAug 14, 2020You either die a Ferris Bueller or live long enough to see yourself become Jim McAllister.

just knowing that this is apparently Barack Obama's favourite political film somehow made it that much funnier
liam fFeb 17, 2021paul is literally the sweetest character in all of cinematic history
Megan BitchellAug 13, 2021Paul for President. Progress. Promise. Peanuts.

7.2 - I mean I didn’t not like this, but I’ve had trouble articulating what I liked? Or I didn’t like this but I’m having trouble articulating what I didn’t like? I don’t know. There’s too many subplots but I like the structure of moving through them from narrated perspective to narrated…

This was a conflicting movie, pretty interesting how everything could be different with just one decision changed. Felt like they glazed over the fact that Tracy was groomed😭 no matter how much the narration try’s to convince you shes bad shes just a kid, annoying? Yes. 6/10 🏛️
an amazing film and one that truly was payne’s best, up until the holdovers. the characters are so well-written and developed that i couldn’t wait to see what would come next from the genius narrative. subverts expectations at all times, incredibly smart and hilarious, a true joy
If I were McAllister there are many times I would have Killed myself, hidden evidence, not cheated, not called Linda, and shot Tracy Flick but hey that’s just me. But seriously Tracy Flick should burn in hell and McAllister should probably have not called Linda THAT many times
