It’s really fun rewatching this after being horrified from it in childhood and laughing out loud at a spider spitting out fur from a deer trophy head and having punch sound effects as one repeatedly “punches” a background actor. Completely ridiculous and over the top, amazing
Niila lovedEight Legged FreaksCheesy. I watched this as a kid so it has nostalgia factor for me, but even I can admit the movie is cheese. What I love most about this movie is that the spiders are Unique, and genuinely recognizable as their real world counterparts. This was someone's passion project.

The concept is straightforward creature-feature chaos. Toxic waste mutates spiders, they grow huge, and the town scrambles to survive. It follows a familiar monster-movie structure without many surprises. The only downside was the CGI, it sucks.

Harland is "meh" onEight Legged FreaksNot awful. Some interesting noises that come from the spiders during some scenes, and there isn’t much of a story aside from defeating a bunch of giant spiders. Not too bad in the long run.
