mollySep 14, 2021I'm sorry but I can't take Timothée Chalamet seriously, he looks like a guy who knows too much about TikTok

Great theater movie. Not sure if it was a *good* movie but definitely fun to watch
MK dislikedDuneThis was long and boring and didn’t explain anything?
Audrey K dislikedDuneThankfully, Paul’s beauty was blinding, blocking the fact of a nonexistent plot & Zendaya perfume ads (?). I’d rather not be burdened with the political struggles over a planet that is inhabited by nothing except dust and dull worms (though I’m sure they have great personality).

Good movie, but I was confused 90% of the time 🙈
Jikitiz is "meh" onDuneFoos told me it was a better star wars😐
Jae lovedDuneIdk why it took me so long to finally watch this it’s definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time 🪱

The pictures were stunning, i must admit. Have seen it in 4DX which was well executed. However, the plot seemed slow-paced and hard to understand.
Hunter Alleman lovedDune9.2/10 Rewatch for Dune 2 and wow I’m glad I did. I picked up on so much more this time around. Chalamet delivers one of the better performances I’ve seen, captures you from the start. The cinematography in this film is incredible. Extremely excited for Dune 2
Nick Milano lovedDuneWow. I didn’t expect to like this. The atmosphere, camera work, soundtrack, everything was amazing in this movie. It really brings you in the world and keeps your attention even if there was no action for a while. Only dislike I have is Zendaya and it’s confusing. Amazing movie.

Absolutely phenomenal. This is the Lord of the Rings of Sci-fi. Can't wait for part 2.
DWDaniel WyrickDenis V is one of the greatest directors working today. after a string of Sci-Fi hits with Arrival and Blade Runner no one should be surprised that doing is a solid as it is. Highly recommend and can't wait for part two.

There is simply not enough dramatic development to fill the film as a whole.

Dune is a tour de force of cinematic sci-fi, a star-studded yet deeply weird fantasy epic, a thoughtful and thrilling movie experience... And then it stops right in the middle.

Being the hero of the story has never looked so poisoned, and that alone is thrilling enough to hope Villeneuve gets to make part two of this impressively batshit venture.
