Just, perfect. Sad it’s gone but happy we got to experience it.
It feels surreal to be at the end of Downton Abbey. After spending over *119 hours with the Crawleys, it honestly feels like I'm saying goodbye to family from another life. *I ended up rewatching the entire 6 seasons and 2 prior movies to prepare for this finale movie. The finale was such a…
I love these movies so much! The humor is so smart, the acting is fantastic, and the emotions really pull you in. I loved the flashbacks at the end and the final moment of the movie which definitely had me fighting tears if you’re a fan of these movies and TV show, then you’ll love this movie

loved it what an amazing ending for everyone (still hope there will be a spin off or anythinggg🙏🙏)
This does feel more like a tribute project than an actual continuation of the story. As it does wrap things up nicely, and pays homage to Maggie Smith, I feel like the Plot could have been stretched a bit longer, as the villain of the story seems to meet his match a bit early.

Genuinely, if u have watched all the other movies and all the seasons, it was so good. It was just a massive goodbye that was done so well. All those characters - I love y’all so much 😍😍😍 Goodbye for now 😭😭😭
Absolutely delightful end to the show. The costumes, the acting, the cinematography, all of it was stunning, and the end of the film was a fine tribute to Dame Maggie Smith.👍🏻👍🏻

A great way to say goodbye to Downton.
I watched it with my wife. The movie should be called Dinner at Downtown Abby. for the many dinners they dress up for. I wonder how the actors managed to keep their slim figures with all the reshoots, etc.

With a mix of old characters and new, worldly upheaval and small-town dramas, Fellowes illustrates what Downton has always done best, which is a social examination of how much things have changed and how they haven’t changed at all.
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale is as good as it needs to be, though like the other movies it’s probably a complete puzzlement to anyone not already familiar with the franchise, and creator/writer Julian Fellowes can’t resist having someone earnestly intone something about Things Change And We Must Change With Them every two minutes.
This final movie will give loyal Downton fans what they want: a satisfying bit of closure and the sense that the future, though a bit scary, may look kindly on Downton Abbey as long as Mary is in charge.
