A nice addition to the film noire genre. You get Denzel Washington and Don Cheadle in addition to Tom Sizemore. Denzel is dynamite as usual and the movie keeps you invested. One of Denzel's overlooked roles but certainly leaves you with a conclusion that fits it's genre.
Lee likedDevil in a Blue DressDenzel going Phillip Marlowe in a late-1940s LA noire. The plot isn’t anything innovative, but Denzel obviously excels in the performance and PI narration superbly. I expected LA to be shown with a little more of a glitz facade to contrast the dark truths.
