STORY TIME: My Grandpa Turned Into A Vampire!!!?! 😱🧛🏻♂️ (not clickbait)
˗ˏˋ suspirliam ˊˎ˗Jun 1, 2021Sometimes, you watch a director's debut feature and are floored by it. They exist fully formed and break out onto the scene with a fresh voice. Most debuts, though, are like Guillermo del Toro's Cronos. This is a film full of the director's trademark obsessions, and…

The premise was unique, however it almost seemed like it was a vampire film without really being a vampire film. Unfortunately I was mostly bored with this film because it tends to drag in several places. At least I learned how Ron Perlman got the Hellboy gig.
This was actually weird and kind of like a different spin on a vampire film mixed in with a touch of "The Fly" body horror.
