JayJay is "meh" onConsecrationIt’s unique to see a movie with a Catholic Church and nuns not revolve around an exorcism, but the film fell short of already low expectations. Very little explanation and the ending provided no satisfaction in explanation or storyline. Unfortunate not much going for this flick.

But there’s nothing particularly scary, there’s nothing particularly moving to look at, and there’s nothing new or inventive. A lazy, cliched, disorganized, 90 minute slog with a terrible finale.

In a film lacking in real frights, the pathos of a young novitiate’s suicide attempt hits you hard, because it’s one of the few moments in the lovely and lushly-detailed Consecration that makes you feel something.
