    Just a fun watch man. The acting is so bad, yet so perfect. Wish more movies were shot like this, the stiff nature feels almost more natural and a lot more entertaining. Feels like GTA dialogue with Oblivion cutscenes Cheating’s not cool, Randal is though—he’s the man, man.

    I appreciate the cinematography and writing a whole lot, but the amateurish way the dialogue is carried out could prob make or break it for you, like iykyk but that’s kinda what I like most about it… idk I guess it’s for the art/film hoes but I love

    a truly great and inspiring indie film that has been highly regarded as legendary within the wider cult genre; the writing is superb and the amateur actors give immensely impressive performances. the humor lands, aided by excellent pacing and editing; love black and white

    The only thing I dislike about this movie is that some of the performances can be very bland and make you realize these people are just reading a script. That being said, this movie has some of the best writing I've seen in a comedy in a while. 8/10

Randal is a beautiful hostile piece of work that only could have come from America. He's the sort of guy who never put in a quality day at the office in his life, but somehow probably winds up winning the biggest lotto drawing ever with a ticket he stole from his loser best friend's Quickie Mart.

Although a few bits (the film is done in blackout sketch style) fall flat and a good ten minutes could be shaved off the running time with no visible damage, it's an impressive and irascible debut that rings true even when you're laughing too hard to hear it.
