Christmas Evil is sad, touching, startling, and heartwarming all at once. Not a slasher film, but a Taxi Driver/Maniac-esque character study digging into the mind of a broken human who slips into madness via one damn fine performance from Fiona Apple’s father, Brandon…
Children witnessing ordinary sexual activity (most typically involving other immediate family members, and on or near a holiday) has tragically cost the lives of literally thousands of innocent movie characters. The trauma of seeing mommy kissing Santa Claus is all too…
Going Travis Bickle mode because my mom got her back walls blown out by Santa. One of the best endings in trash movie history. Full discussion on episode 152 of my podcast SLEAZOIDS.
Only half joking when I say this is better than Taxi Driver.
You either die a factory worker or you live long enough to see yourself become Santa.
this movie is a work of art, i saw it & said, look at that van go! but seriously,
The first time I saw this was about 10 years ago and I really didn’t care for it. However, over time, I have come to enjoy this more and more. Now, I really find it pretty awesome and a required holiday season watch! This plot synopses I usually see for this indicate…

It might not be what you are wanting from a Christmas Horror movie but if you want to watch Taxi Driver/The Joker meets The Santa Clause you’ve come to the right place. A classic of the Christmas Horror genre.
A Christmas slasher classic, staring Fiona Apple’s dad. I highly recommend watching it with John Water’s audio commentary (if you have the Blu-ray).
it’s not incredible or anything but a fun time. Silent Night, Deadly Night is way better
This was better than I expected. Worth the watch if you like Christmas horror movies!
