My review of this movie is that during the opening credits a pizza man in a filthy shirt shouted “c’mon you breakin a-my heart!” and lit a cigarette in his own restaurant so I rushed to letterboxd to give it four stars. There’s a ton of movie left I’ll report back in later.

A fun time with a few good scares. CHOPPING MALL replaces the knife-wielding homicidal maniacs of the 80s with futuristic “killbots.” A short and fast paced thrill ride through a great shopping mall set piece. 7/10

cheesy and ridiculous 80s killer robot slasher movie 💀 so many parts of this are joyfully incompetent in a way that you can’t help but have a good time with there’s some fun kills, the mall is a unique setting and i really enjoyed the robot effects

Aww everyone should have such good manners like the protectors. For example whenever you kill someone you say:” thank you, have a nice day” Also when he called her Dead-eye was that a reference to Evil Dead or was it because she had good aim?

B-Movies rarely get close to being A-Movies. This was a prime example of use what you have, maintaining a tone that suits these types of movies. It’s one of the few standout movies from the B-Movie slasher era. 🔌

This was a good slasher just I don’t like how the main character is smiling throughout the film over a guy she just met and didn’t care about her friends dying. She only cared about the guy she just met?

Absolute kino. If you took 80s culture and blended it together into a B-Horror movie, this is the result. So unintentionally funny and an absolute blast to watch in theatres.
