the robots saying "thank you, have a nice day" after every kill is peak comedy
aaronJan 5, 2019My review of this movie is that during the opening credits a pizza man in a filthy shirt shouted “c’mon you breakin a-my heart!” and lit a cigarette in his own restaurant so I rushed to letterboxd to give it four stars. There’s a ton of movie left I’ll report back in later.

Instead of binging on “aerobics will kill you” movies, I decided to revisit another completely insane 80’s horror flick that’s pretty much Short Circuit on crack. Killer robots in the mall. Barbara Crampton. Florsheim Galleria. Scott from Friday the 13th part 2. Radio…
Tony the TerrorAug 30, 2025those robots ruined a perfectly good furniture store orgy

Every mall should have killbots for those refusing to wear a face mask in public.

pd187Sep 5, 2019Daily Horror Hunt #15 the cut from the guy getting electricuted to a different guy saying, “smoking’s bad for your health,” is possibly the greatest edit in cinematic history!!!

One of the Best B-Level Horror Movies to ever be made. Ridiculous concept that just works in the most fun way possible. 80s cheese that is Gouda!
A fun time with a few good scares. CHOPPING MALL replaces the knife-wielding homicidal maniacs of the 80s with futuristic “killbots.” A short and fast paced thrill ride through a great shopping mall set piece. 7/10

cheesy and ridiculous 80s killer robot slasher movie 💀 so many parts of this are joyfully incompetent in a way that you can’t help but have a good time with there’s some fun kills, the mall is a unique setting and i really enjoyed the robot effects
Aww everyone should have such good manners like the protectors. For example whenever you kill someone you say:” thank you, have a nice day” Also when he called her Dead-eye was that a reference to Evil Dead or was it because she had good aim?

This was a good slasher just I don’t like how the main character is smiling throughout the film over a guy she just met and didn’t care about her friends dying. She only cared about the guy she just met?
movie: 8.5/10 character’s survival instincts: -2/10 my chances of survival: 10/10 (i would use water against the robots or leave through the air ducts) silly old horror movie that was a fun watch
