The movie felt more like a biography. It starts from them being kids to where they are now and it all takes place during a car roadtrip.
It was adorable! So much more behind the movies I grew up watching, the history and life of Marin and Chong is so diverse, interesting and almost destiny-ish? The fact that they can talk about their issues and still walk off together into a bar is beautiful
I thought this was going to be like every other Cheech and Chong movie, but it was not. It was so heartwarming to learn the history of how they got started and also some of their struggles along the way. 5 out of 5 stars. FANTASTIC FILM!
Best Cheech and Chong movie, really brings the memories of their old films back in the day. This films will always be amazing in my heart no matter what and the duo in the 70s to today. The movie brought emotions on how friendship is and the connection to all your blood…
Great doc really enjoyed learning things about them that i didn’t know! Loved seeing the bond those two have it was sweet!!

Every square inch of this picture is fascinating, whether for the fresh faces or those who have been fans of Cheech and Chong for years.
The overall effect is appropriately trippy, and revealing.
The documentary doesn’t quite cover everything — their collaborations with Joni Mitchell and Martin Scorsese go unmentioned, for example. This is still a rollicking account that will make even non-herbally-inclined viewers root for the fellows.
