Synopsis

    The only funny thing about this movie is the idea that someone would give up sleeping with women to date the goateed cry baby which is Ben Affleck.

    This, outside of Mallrats, is what made me love Kevin Smith and his movies. He has such a unique way to tell stories and his characters are always so memorable. Def a different take on a love story.

    not what i thought this would be. started off good and then they got together and i was like ehhh and then it was alright i guess but then he gets mad at her about being with guys 10 years ago?? and then the amy story was told and i was into it again but then he asks for a 3sum??

    Rather unfortunate to read how divisive this film is. It’s just a very unconventional rom-com that succeeds in touching on different themes of bisexuality, flaws in homophobic logic, and the prevalence of (masculine) sexual insecurity.

    A somewhat poorly aged Kevin Smith effort that is still fairly solid. Ben Affleck is pretty good however I do feel that the script needed a little work, ignoring what has aged poorly

    You could've just moved on, you know? There are things I liked and disliked about this, but maybe Kevin Smith's other similar films are clouding my judgment idk.
