It's incredibly cliché and predictable, but it's also really funny and heartfelt, enough to redeem itself and turn it into something at least a little bit enjoyable.
oliviathebiApr 4, 2023One of those perfectly fine and adequate and sometimes cute American comedy films with lots of schmaltzy moments that your parents would probably love.

As a lifelong Seattle Supersonics fan, I did not expect this movie to reopen that wound 💔. So…. thanks for that. Otherwise, it’s a really cute film with an inclusive heart, despite being a very paint by numbers sports movie. “Seattle Sucks!” 2023 Ranked Degrees of…

What an amazing movie, very moving. As someone who has played, coached and ref basketball all my life i have a deep connection with the game and feel like this movie portrays a great example of how a team can turn into a family and change people.

This movie was just awesome. I had such low expectations and it blew me away. Woody Harrelson is perfect for this role and I was laughing the entire time. It’s such a feel good story that doesn’t cut any corners on the humor. Great for fans of basketball.
Feel good film. Really enjoyable watch. Made my heart feel warm and fuzzy

Champions was such an inspiring movie but the romance storyline between the coach and the woman dragged it down. I get their relationship was important to his character development but it didn't need to be front and center 🤷🏻♀️ The real stars were the friends, wish we'd gotten even more focus on…

Pretty awful messages. Yes, let’s swipe right when lonely and teach downs kids to be sexually crude. Skip this movie.
SHSandy HutchinsThe only thing I didn't like about it was the cursing and sexual implications.
SGSteve Germanit's a good story for the kids and their basketball games . Woody has some fine moments. the kids are funny and it's heart warming. so if you are a Harrelson fan, it's for you. if not skip it
