j_a_x_Sep 20, 2024Christopher Abbott and Barry Keoghan stuck in cyclical destruction. The role mothers play within that cycle is especially devastating. Sons trapped in homes they can’t stop from disintegrating and towns where there’s nowhere to go. The way tension builds over time is so…

ShayMar 31, 2025Barry Keoghan should stop taking teenagers roles as he’s 30+ years old and has a child. A neat little thriller, where the nonlinear storytelling works in its favour. Great performances, with some very tough scenes.

I was looking forward to this as I was expecting actual farmyard 'beef'. I mean, it's called 'Bring Them Down'. The only thing brought down were my eyelids. I knew nothing of this film until I heard about it on social media. The best way to describe it is a modern day Shakespearean tragedy. Barry Keoghan is one of best actors today, and he delivers a fantastic performance. I wasn’t satisfied with the ending, but, I really enjoyed it.
A great fable casting questions on moral judgement and the destruction of violence. Well done and thrilling. It provides morally grey characters instead of the usual black and white and clearly defined definition of good and bad. It features strong performances too.

i watched this because christopher abbot is hot. It re inspired me to want to start Irish on Duolingo. They were all a bit morally uneven, doing good and bad. The old man reminded me of my irish grandad
Just found out this exists today. It’s messed up. Kind of expected it to be since Barry Keoghan is in it 🤷🏼♀️. I enjoyed it. Not nearly as f**ked up as Saltburn.

This film is not for people who love animals. It’s got Barry and it’s dark you’re bringing it on yourselves guys
Barry Keoghan must be a psycho in real life, there’s no way he’s this good at being bad
