Being that The Blair Witch Project is one of my favorite films of all time I find myself rewatching this sequel every half decade or so. My mission in these rewatches is to hopefully find anything enjoyable about this movie. Well you have failed me again Book Of…

Is it weird that Joe Berlinger made 3 documentaries about how liking horror movies and metal music doesn't make teenagers violent psychopaths and then he made this movie that states bluntly that liking horror movies and metal will probably turn teens into violent…

brilliant reconstruction of the original film's fictionality. if the original blair witch was a fake pretending to be real documentary, blair witch 2 is a real production pretending to be a fake narrative. we see the birth of the myth's reality, the nitty gritty factory of…

i really want to say something insightful about how movies are almost always somehow about movies & this is kind of abt how capitalism commodified the first movie & hollowed it out removing the original emotional content & trauma from the events that happened and…

Well, it tried. This movie is so discombobulated and convoluted, I almost felt like I needed to watch ot twice in a row to fully figure it out. But I came to my senses, and decided that would simply be a waste of my time. I like the original. I don't love it. It was…

Book of the Shadows is a strange movie even by the standards of its franchise. It’s almost impossible to understand unless you know that it was originally intended to be a satire, but was later recut as a more conventional horror film. It has the bones of an innovative…

What the hell. I cannot believe how terrible this is. This is a disgrace to the Blair Witch herself. Put some respect on her name.

0/10 Um desastre absoluto: tenta ser meta e psicológico, mas vira bagunça confusa, mal dirigida e sem terror. Personagens irritantes, efeitos ruins, trama incoerente e zero susto. Destrói o legado do original. Uma das piores sequências da história do horror. Inassistível.

The assault is against our ears, as the soundtrack pours forth a stream of thrash and Goth music.

There's nothing scarier than a group of hormone-crazed 20-somethings, but this sequel isn't much more than a footnote of a footnote.
