Only movies can do this.
Sean FennesseyMay 1, 2026so hard to understand how memory actually works -- incredible to see a movie depict that trickiness so well
David SimsApr 26, 2026When I saw this at TIFF last year I said that it made me cry at one point. Well on this second viewing I was a weepy mess from basically beginning to end. My mind’s made up, this is a five-bagger. The shards of this very specific story can hit just about everyone. The…

Had this lump in my throat for the back 1/3rd that i was unsuccessfully trying to swallow away. Extremely structurally dynamic; there’s a world where Romvari could’ve taken a more traditional approach that wouldn’t have landed quite the way this did.
First half!!! Oh please! First half was lovely! The second half🥴 I’m glad it was made but I personally need more then “this movie is meant to start a conversation”
