there is a moment at the end where blade suplexes a vampire and then pops back up with a bugs bunny cartoon noise in front of a smirking ron perlman. it is pure cinema
nickusenMay 3, 2022I will never be more at peace than watching Wesley Snipes beat people up to techno music
adamboltApr 17, 2022There's literally not a single movie in which the introduction of a fictional drug does not immediately turn it into a cartoon. "There's a new shipment of gronko on the streets." "All the vampires are shooting up blunchies." Then some actor's gotta put red pop rocks in his…

I like how Whistler just brought the sunglasses with him to the final battle cause he knew Blade was gonna want to aurafarm
James (Schaffrillas)Aug 11, 2014Total genius move patterning this after ALIENS. Plays its deliriously goofy premise entirely straight, and lets the luxurious pulp design do all the heavy lifting while the endless exposition is delivered by one colorful badass after another. It's all punctuated by some…

Marvel will never be this cool again I fear
Joe AApr 20, 2021A dude snorts a line of powdered blood like 10 minutes into the movie, and that gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect for the remaining 100 minutes. 7/10

- zxki is "meh" onBlade II
Absolute steaming hot pile of cycling action. I felt no need to connect to the characters as the development felt so weak and misdirected, other than that it was pretty.
Morgan likedBlade IIbetter pacing and imo a more engaging and less repetitive plot than the first movie (both are good though) there were some freaky/cool effects, especially the reapers, not all of them looked amazing though i liked him teaming up with the other vampires

Mhmd likedBlade IIBlade II is a high-octane thrill ride that ups the ante from the original. Guillermo del Toro's dark, gothic visuals and the film's frenetic pace create a mesmerizing experience. Wesley Snipes reprises his iconic role with swagger, and the supporting cast adds depth to the story. The action scenes…
- Eye Cinc is "meh" onBlade II
A big improvement from the first one, specially with the visual effects. And although Mr. Del Toro made a really good work in the technical side, the story still is not interesting to me, I couldn’t care less for anybody in the movie, everyone could just explode and is fine by me
Andrew Gooder lovedBlade III admit, it’s definitely not as good as the first one was, but it still keeps up my expectations for a blade film enough to make it just as enjoyable. The plot was fantastic and the acting was great as well. This is not at all a bad film and is definitely worth watching. 9.1/10
Cain Ungar lovedBlade IIBlade II picks up right where the first film left off and takes the action and intensity up a notch. Guillermo del Toro adds his own style, the fights are more brutal, the enemies even nastier—a worthy sequel that keeps the story exciting and pushes things to the next level.

Snipes gives a looser, cooler performance this time around, though emotionally, it's closer to dead than undead. Blade II is for the horror faithful only; others will be grasping their crucifixes.

You can sense the difference between a movie that's a technical exercise (Resident Evil) and one steamed in the dread cauldrons of the filmmaker's imagination.

Del Toro (Cronos) is a stylish horrormeister, and he has created an evocative, foreboding atmosphere. But only a fan of this kind of mayhem could find a way into the story.
