    being a teenage girl is hard, having to grow up too fast at too young of an age. with their awkward haircuts, in between clothes that are too young and too old. this films captures all those uncomfortable moments especially in a household with limited income and strained…

    Isn’t it fun watching this girl get taken advantage of for 100 minutes? I suppose it’s still a coming of age story, just not the sweet kind. A more “realistic” portrayal of what it’s like to be a girl in your early teens. Not that I’d know anything about that. Upsetting!
