Moviegoers are saying
Beast delivers the meat-and-potatoes MMA experience audiences crave, with Russell Crowe's crusty trainer stealing scenes and fight choreography that lands every punch with visceral impact. While critics note its formulaic Rocky-clone structure, viewers consistently praise its emotional authenticity and surprisingly effective execution of familiar sports movie beats.

I wasn’t expecting an Aussie fight film to go this hard. I would love Russell Crowe yelling at me to breathe as part of therapy.
KyloAug 5, 2026So u can breathe. So u can think. So u can win🥊🥊 One thing I've noticed, though is that almost every fighting movie follows the same formula the main character is already dealing with some personal struggle before stepping into the cage. I get why filmmakers do it without…
ʏᴏᴜɴᴇssApr 12, 2026I was in a small town with nothing to do, so killed an evening by going to the nearest AMC. I was enticed by this because I liked the idea of a B-movie set in the world of MMA that featured Russell Crowe as the crusty old trainer. Boy, it sure hit the spot. If you're in the…

C KattJun 18, 2026No knockout. No triumph. Just another movie about a washed-up fighter who needs one last fight to make everything right again. I knew exactly where this was going every step of the way. And somehow, it still worked.

NURULLAHJun 23, 2026If you're familiar with my channel, you know I love the movie Warrior. It's my go-to recommendation, the hidden gem I point people toward when they want something they may have missed. I wasn't expecting Beast to reach that level, but I was hoping it would be a little bit…
SeanChandlerMay 9, 2026Only watched cause of Russell Crowe. it can be viewed calmly without any surprises but before launching Beast, i knew full well that nothing will ever top Warrior (2011) as the best MMA movie. « I accepted this fight just for the money. » « Hard work is done, now comes the…

6.2/10 The action/fight scenes are great but the plot is generic and predictable. I wish Russel Crowe’s character had more to do because he is mostly pissed off the entire movie. The villain was kinda boring. Not much else to say. The action was rare but when it happened it was great and the rest…
Wagner Freitas lovedBeastOne more for the book of insanely good and fast choreographies, good script, acting, one that you could feel the tense atmosphere between the fighters and in every fight. PS: That's what happens when you work with people that really do know about Mixed Martial Arts!! P.S:
BENNY likedBeast6/10 Beast is a tense survival movie with some solid action and stressful moments. The film keeps things simple like a father and his daughters trying to survive against a deadly lion in the wild.

This movie had me questioning “what’s going on?” In the beginning but it had you wanting more. I would recommend this movie to watch. Had my heart pumping.
SDStephanie DeAvilaThe beginning had me thinking this was about to be an action packed movie.. WRONG. The movie was free.. so i guess that was the only win. The story made no sense, the action wasn’t enough. The same okd, same okd.
MTMarsha ThorneyGreat movie. Loved it!
