I’m not blind to the fact that this is not great cinema. But there is something to be said for seeing that era of the hero — awash in color and bearing a lighter mood instead of the brooding Dark Knight incarnation we’ve had since Batman in 1989 (Batman & Robin notwithstanding.)
I mean it’s good for it’s time. With how I’m reviewing this I have to compare it to movies of its time and not movies now. Because if DC released this today people would riot. But for it’s time it’s alright. The joker was amazing and Adam west is a great Batman. So a 6.5/10.
I love this movie, but I can’t rate it any higher lol. All the characters r so iconic! I used to watch this and the show all the time as a kid! I remember it being so serious, but it had me cracking up at times how goofy it was! I just personally don’t think it holds up :/

dated in many regards, but i can’t help but feel nostalgic towards this classic superhero film that jumpstarted may superior ones down the line. my dad watched this growing up, and it’s just wholesome family fun at the end of the day. batman’s the best
This movie is so good for its time the acting is good it’s comic accurate for the silver age of comics the action is fun and the story is charming it’s worth the watch if you’re going through batmans history 7.6/10 (15)

Rest in peace to the legend himself, I own this on DVD because it was the first dc movie I fell in love with. Had to reminisce in some nostalgia
