While I found the performances very one note (those dour stares do feel on brand for the time period though) the cinematography is beautiful and I honestly was captivated despite the length, which is all very Kubrick. Not my favourite but glad I took the time to watch it.
Will likedBarry Lyndon7.9/10. Super interesting movie. The shooting, style, and storytelling were really good. Typically not my go to old Victorian movie style but enjoyed a couple duels and enjoy how it goes through Barry’s whole life. Give it a while before a rewatch haha
