Ballerina falls a little short versus the John Wick movies but it was still a good watch. The grenade scene was something different and fun to watch. What it lacks in action is made up with the beauty of Ana De Armas.

The movie was good. It was entertaining. The John Wick series is better. The story lacked and only two fight scenes stood out from the whole movie.

I have a hard time seeing a 5'6 140 pounds beauty like Ana de armas can take down a 6'2 220 pound man. I felt like the movie was trying to force it down my throat. Like a Mila Jokovich would of been better. It just felt like the stunt men were always waiting for Ana to…

I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this movie. It was non stop action from the beginning to the end. I appreciate that it showed you're not about to be 110#s wet and be able to kick butt without someone help...#FIGHTLIKEAGIRL IYKYK

I absolutely loved it. Action was awesome. Cast is amazing. Storyline is a bit predictable. But overall very enjoyable and so good. Non stop action scenes and characters are great too. Looking forward to seeing more of the Ballerina in the future!!!

Another SUPER female that kills men at every turn. A garbage ripoff from the J. Wick series.

It’s time to ban these type of movies of violence and Society has grown out of control and glorifying, and it is not helping

honestly loved how they kept it realistic, understanding that she is still a woman, and even though that has real valid disadvantages, it doesn't mean she would lose.

This movie gave an interesting perspective on the Ruska Roma. It expanded on the harsh training the ballerinas endure. The action scenes are plentiful and entertaining as per usual with John Wick. There are many interesting deaths: grenades, claymores, flamethrowers, and…

One imagines screenwriter Shay Hatten (Rebel Moon) spinning a big Wheel of Weapons that would land on “hand grenades” or “flame-thrower” or “dishware,” leading him to craft novel ways for de Armas to implement these deadly items. The fight scenes are all Ballerina has going for it, but they’re frequent, varied, and clever enough to make watching the film a worthy summer pastime.

The Film Verdict

Exploiting a mere sliver of story from John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Ballerina concocts an especially dull origin story for an ancillary piece of Wickian lore.

A cluttered mess with a boring storyline but the action is often amazing, and there’s a genuine sense of humor to all its weird duels to the death. That’s something that’s been absent from the self-serious John Wick movies for far too long — an acknowledgement of their own wackiness.
