Bait (2000)

A surprisingly enjoyable action comedy. Jamie Foxx was really funny, and David Morse was pretty fun. Story was decent, had enough of a hook to keep me entertained. Action sequences were cool, like the car bomb and chase. The antagonist was alright though, played it a little…

On second thought it might’ve been a bit early to declare Fuqua February. In this one he tries to tune up this ostensible new millennium heist/surveillance thriller with some Bay/Scott visual trickery but its dead on arrival because for whatever reason the decision was made…

Peak Fuqua and yet it's criminally underrated! Loudmouth characters are really getting on me good. Well done Foxxy. 🤣🔥🔥🤣 You were an awesome bait my man🤗😂

I recently rewatched Bait (2000) on Tubi. The plot centers on a lifelong petty criminal offered a chance by the police to secure his freedom in exchange for helping them capture a targeted criminal. However, what appears to be a golden opportunity may carry unforeseen…
