Moviegoers are saying
This Hong Kong time-travel sequel to a beloved 2001 TVB series splits audiences between nostalgic fans celebrating a reunion with cherished characters and newcomers baffled by the IP-driven storytelling. Louis Koo leads familiar faces through ancient China with modern quips, delivering what one reviewer called 'not freshness, but echoes' - complete with two different endings and hoverboard kung fu that left American audiences questioning their ranch dressing priorities.

I would spoil the ending for you, but this movie had not one, but two endings! I can't choose which ending to spoil.

Dreadful slop apparantly a sequel to a 20 year old TV show that I was completely unaware of before I bought my ticket, so this is essentially IP mining. I always really want to like these new Hong Kong productions, but as with mainland Chinese movies as usual this is…
