kaylApr 27, 2018and in the end it turns out the Marvel Cinematic Universe was just the story of Tony Stark trying to figure out faster and faster ways of getting dressed. a noble goal, to be fair, but still. 150 minutes of dank colors in deep space. precious few sparks of life. as much…

adamboltApr 25, 2018Think you're ready? You aren't. Trust me. 10 years have been leading to this. Leading to sadness, to anger, to confusion. Leading to the gutsiest blockbuster of all time. It doesn't give you room to breathe, not even for a second, and the sheer amount of excitement it…
JackApr 26, 2019Better log this before I see Endgame tomorrow. As of right now, the best MCU movie. A monumental achievement that I rewatch scenes from on at least a weekly basis. I could never sufficiently put into words how much I adore this movie.

I truly don’t believe that this movie exists. It’s so much fun and so many tears at the end. Quote: You should’ve gone for the head. Character: Thanos/Thor Moment: I don’t feel so good 11/10
Piera Scaraggi dislikedAvengers: Infinity Warthe death of good cinema
Vincent Sexton lovedAvengers: Infinity WarThe best MCU movie hands down. It will be nearly impossible to top this considering the build up and the stakes at hand. It is the Empire Strikes Back of a new generation, and I cannot express my feeling leaving the theater. This is a cinematic masterpiece and was made with love.

Some of the sequences are undeniably thrilling but, at about 2-1/2 hours, overkill sets in early.

A comic-book flick that’s as thrilling and enthralling as it is pretentious and preposterous. The story is just an excuse for the action sequences, and the Marvel strategy remains intact: When in doubt, blow stuff up.

It’s exhausting, but it’s also frequently effective. It’s surface-level with its emotional beats, but a number of them still land, largely thanks to the continuously all-in performances of the series’ endlessly patient stars. It’s an event that advertises itself as an event in every way, while somehow still managing to justify the immense hype around it.
