JayApr 23, 2019INFINITY WAR: unwatchable space trash. one of the worst movies in the MCU. ENDGAME: a genuinely touching (and cleverly self-reflexive) mega-spectacle about how it feels to fail the people you love. one of the best movies in the MCU. i don’t make the rules! glad…

- Cameron Tanner dislikedAvengers: Endgame
Controversial opinion, this is not the best MCU movie. Backtracking of characters and their personalities and making time travel open endless amounts of plot holes. Overall: Not great.
zxki lovedAvengers: EndgameThe biggest and best marvel movie ever. In the mcu atleast. The amount of sweat, blood and tears The Avengers put it in glows like a light blub. The emotion and action is off the charts. Its just Endgame for real, the mcu will most likely never peak this high again.
KatyK lovedAvengers: EndgameSaw again today and cried like a baby; there was so much I forgot had happened or hadn’t caught the last few times I’ve watched.

No matter what comes next from Marvel Studios, this Avengers is a gargantuan love letter to the equally enormous mythology that Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko and the rest of their collaborators built — and to the generations of readers and moviegoers who truly believe in it.

The movie largely delivers, splashing its ambitious three-hour narrative across a sprawling canvas of characters, eras, and not-quite-insurmountable challenges.
